Being the first project carried out by Skanska Property Poland in the Cracow region, the new office project will consist of two class A buildings.

Featuring around 30,000 square meters of leasable space, the new complex will consist of nine stories above the ground level and three stories at the underground level. The first phase will comprise of about 12, 250 square meters plus underground garage for both phases.

Kapelanka 42 will apply for LEED pre-certification at Gold level, and will feature a number of sustainable solutions, which will minimise the building’s environmental footprint and significantly reduce its operating costs.

The construction contract is worth EUR26 million ($33.75 million). Construction is due to start in the fourth quarter of 2012 and is slated for completion in the third quarter of 2014.
