Who:
Snickeriet is a Stockholm-based carpentry company that combines in-house production of its own line of furniture with carpentry commissions. It was founded this year by cabinet makers Gunnar Dahl and Karolina Stenfelt, with designers Karl-Johan Hjerling and Karin Wallenbeck. Its first collection of handmade furniture consists of four pieces.
Why:
All products are handmade by Dahl and Stenfelt, the latter named in 2011 Journeyman of the Year. Dahl and Stenfelt have worked with clients that include TAF Architects, Byredo perfumes, and Note Design.
