The three properties will open in Wellington, New Zealand; Bali, Indonesia; and Shenyang, China. This will bring the network in the Asia Pacific region to a total of 43 properties by mid-2014. All these locations will incorporate Sofitel’s signature brand style of French elegance.

Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort will open in Bali in September 2013. It will introduce its brand blueprint that combines French luxury with the essence of local tradition. The resort will be located 40 kilometres from Denpasar, the provincial capital of Bali. It will feature 415 rooms as well as 17 private villas. The hotel will also have a ballroom, five meeting rooms, a multi-function room, three restaurants, a bar and lounge as well as wellness facilities. An infinity pool, fitness centre named So FIT, and the spa concept named So SPA which will offer a selection of the best and most effective treatments combined with refined French cosmetology.

Sofitel Wellington will open in 2014, and will be the third Sofitel in New Zealand and the first in the nation’s capital. Located on Bolton Street, city centre, Sofitel Wellington is within walking distance of various attractions. The Sofitel Wellington will boast a ground-floor restaurant showcasing the best local produce from the surrounding Hawkes Bay, Malborough and Martinborough regions as well as a good selection of French and imported wines. It will also offer function and meeting rooms, including a 120-square metre conference room and two smaller meeting rooms. In addition, the Sofitel will feature a fitness centre and an indoor pool.

Sofitel Shenyang Lido features 590 spacious hotel rooms and suites, four restaurants, two bars, two ballrooms, five meeting rooms, a spa, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, a table tennis room, a squash court and 30 parking stalls. It will also have an executive lounge, complemented by a fully equipped business centre. The hotel will be closed for renovation to be brought in line with Sofitel standards, including the hotel exterior, guest rooms, restaurants, as well as MICE facilities. All renovation work is set to be completed in early 2014.
