With an exclusive, waterfront setting, the Westin Resort at Tarpon Point Marina is the first Westin in Southwest Florida. Located in a waterfront community in Cape Coral, the new Westin Resort at Tarpon Point Marina, was formerly known as The Resort at Marina Village. Starwood plans to undertake a comprehensive renovation and bring it in-line with the offerings of the Westin brand.

The Westin Resort at Tarpon Point Marina portfolio will consist of 262 oversize rooms and suites, meeting space and multiple dining outlets. The new Westin will offer comprehensive resort amenities such as a lagoon-style pool, clay tennis courts, amphitheater and full-service marina with water sports, cruises and fishing.

The renovation project at the resort will also redesign its 16,000 square feet of meeting and function space and convert the 4,000-feet spa into a Westin Heavenly Spa. New addition to the resort will be the Westin Kids Club. The new Westin will also have a newly renovated Westin WORKOUT fitness studio.

The sensory-rich environment at Westin will be resonated in the guestrooms of the resort, which will feature Westin Heavenly Bed, the Heavenly Bath enhanced with the brand’s Heavenly Shower, Heavenly Robe and White Tea Aloe bath amenities, and high-speed Internet access.

The guests will enjoy the Westin brand’s signature SuperFoodsRX menu. The gastronomic options extends to both indoor dining and patio seating at Marker92 Waterfront Bar & Bistro; a more casual environment with live-music at the Nauti Mermaid Dockside Bar & Grill, and the Silver King Market & Deli for grab and go snack, salad or sandwich on the Promenade Patio.

The resort will offer views of the Gulf of Mexico, the Caloosahatchee River and San Carlos Bay. It is located between Tampa and Naples, and is 14 miles away from Southwest Florida International Airport. It also enjoys immediacy to Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Fort Myers Beach, the Ding Darling Nature Preserve, and multiple nearby golf courses.
