The new animal care facility combines latest design strategies with modern technology. A central vacuum port at the base of the table in each of the five exam rooms sucks in the stray remains of animals that come in for a check-up. This gives the facility spotless, hair-free floors making the environment more tidy and neat.

DePiero has spent about $500,000 on the renovation of the new space on Lowell Street across from City Hall. The space used to accommodate a flower shop and realtor previously. DePiero has designed the space in such a way that everything is central to the facility.

The hospital features nurses’ station beside the two intensive care pens. A glass-enclosed operating room is located near by. The pharmacy has a channel that carries prescriptions to the front desk.
