The new Hesperia Supermarket is located at 16904 Main Street in the Mid Town Square Shopping Center, and will replace a smaller Stater Bros. Supermarket located in close proximity to the new store.
With an area of 56,586 square feet, the new store has been developed with regards to environmental principals. The state-of-the-art Hesperia Stater Bros. Supermarket is two-folds the size of the supermarket it replaces. The new store will be noted for wider aisles and almost double the amount of convenient parking spaces.
The environmentally friendly practices at the new Hesperia Stater Bros. Supermarket will consist of usage of LED lighting for building signage and refrigerated display cases. The refrigerated cases have glass doors and curtains that reduces energy usage by 60%.
The store also features energy-efficient lamps and occupancy sensors and dimming ballasts enabled lighting. The store will employ an Energy Management System that controls refrigeration, HVAC, Demand Response, and lighting.
The new Hesperia Blue Ribbon Supermarket will also include a Recycling Center for customers to recycle paper and plastic grocery bags. The store has embraced several sustainable practices, which includes use of large grocery bags made with 100% recycled paper and reusable bags for packing the sold mechanised.
The supermarket will have a Fresh Meat Department, Fresh Seafood Department, Deli and Cafe, Full Service Tortilleria featuring, Hot Bakery section, Floral Department and Garden Fresh Produce Department. The new store has added 50 new jobs in the region.
