The annual BIFM awards celebrate the individuals and companies at the forefront of the FM industry in the UK.
Shortlisted in the product innovation category, it is the Staverton CL bench which has captured the judges’ attention. The Staverton CL bench has been designed in collaboration with The Co-operative Group for its new 400,000 sq ft, BREEAM outstanding head office in Manchester.
Tony Cole, manufacturing and design director for Staverton and the originator of the CL bench said: “It’s quite an honour to have our product recognised by the BIFM judging panel and we’re thrilled that the bench’s quality engineering and clever design, not to mention it being manufactured in the UK, met their shortlist criteria. Being a finalist is testament to the collaborative efforts of the Staverton and The Co-operative Group teams. We look forward to the winner being announced.”
The winners will be confirmed at the BIFM Awards ceremony on Monday 8 October 2012 at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
