Sunovia expects that the GSA award will help accelerate government sales, as government customers can now buy the company’s proprietary LED lighting products directly, without having to obtain a competitive bid.

GSA was established in 1949 to help manage and support the basic functioning of federal agencies, providing products and services to the U.S. government. The agency oversees $66 billion in procurement annually and contributes to the management of about $500 billion in US Federal property.

The EvoLucia LED lighting products will be listed on the GSA Advantage! online shopping and ordering system, which is the portal for supplies and services to all federal agencies. Government sustainability managers, energy coordinators, facilities staff and procurement managers can make purchases through this system, knowing that all legal obligations have been taken care of by GSA.
