Located at the Richmond Shopping Center, the Staten Island Central store will be approximately 150,000 square feet, which will offer guests everyday essentials and other branded items. The store will also include a separate section to offer fresh produce, fresh packaged meat and pre-packaged baked goods.
The New York target store will open in July 2013, employing approximately 300 people. The store will also start a local grant program, which will contribute to the United Way and donate food to a Feeding America member, or approved agency.
Target has announced plans to open eight stores in 2013 till date, including CityTargets in Los Angeles and Portland.
