The new Fresno store will be located on North Riverside Drive and will be part of the Marketplace at El Paseo shopping center.
The new Rocklin store will be located on the northwest corner of Interstate Highway 80 and Sierra College Boulevard, and will be part of the Rocklin Commons shopping center.
The Fresno Northwest store will consist of approximately 140,000 square feet of space while the Rocklin store will consist of 136,000 square feet of space.
To cater to the everyday needs of the consumers, the stores will include a selection of fresh produce, fresh packaged meat and pre-packaged baked goods.
Apart from that the stores will also feature Starbucks and a Target Pharmacy.
The two new store locations in Fresno and Rocklin will provide guests with a one-stop shopping convenience they have come to expect from Target, said Cary Strouse, Target’s senior vice president of stores in the Western region.
Like all other Target stores, the new stores in Fresno and Rocklin will create strong partnerships with local organisations in all of the communities through community giving programs.
Both locations will offer guests everyday essentials and exclusive brands.
The stores will start a local grant program to contribute to the United Way and donate food to a Feeding America member, or approved agency.
The new stores will also encourage team members to volunteer their time to serve the needs of the community.
The Fresno Northwest and Rocklin locations will each employ approximately 180-200 team members.
