Tapiflex Commercial Wood is available in a choice of five stylish wood designs. The rich saturated colours and visually appealing texture of the floor can be used in any setting to create a timeless atmosphere and comfortable ambience, particularly conducive to the care, retail and leisure sectors. The new high-density foam backing with closed cells provides a cushion under foot for ultimate comfort and shock absorbency and also provides the flooring’s significant impact sound reduction properties.
The flooring not only demonstrates very high impact sound reduction of19 dB, it also has a superior residual indentation performance of only 0.15mm, to help prevent surface damage when furniture is moved on the floor, and has an excellent environmental profile.
All the raw materials used in Tapiflex Commercial Wood have been selected to conserve natural resources and limit environmental impact. Its PUR-reinforced PVC wear layer gives good resistance to abrasion and scuffing. The PUR-reinforcement also means less cleaning and maintenance, which represents significant cost savings of up to 30%. As well as cost considerations the improved cleaning characteristics are beneficial to the environment, because they greatly reduce the consumption of water and chemicals Tapiflex Commercial Wood also has a built-in Sanitized® treatment which protects the floorcovering from premature ageing caused by micro organisms, and also gives hygiene benefits which are particularly important in nurseries, restaurants and day care centres.
