Combining style and functionality, the new random lay, batchless Tessera Mix range is a blend of practicality and good design. To match the current interior trends, the new Tessera Mix range has been introduced with eight fresh colourways. These colourways include the black and charcoal obsidian, teal glacier, ruby, jade, and earthy shades of sahara, husk and stone, which are grouped together with seven references.
Offered in refreshed and modern colour combinations and soft random geometric aesthetic, Tessera Mix range is designed to enhance the floor spaces of any scale from intimate corridors to expansive open plan offices.
As a random lay tile proposition, tessera mix can be laid in a completely unsystematic fashion. It still creates a seamless appearance once installed as the soft geometric shapes are broken and joined randomly creating the final design.
Designed according to Forbo’s green design principles, Mix is manufactured in the UK using advanced ‘infinity’ tufting technology, which provides the tiles durability, high functionality and resistance capacity towards frequent, heavy footfall and wheeled traffic. Using dyed yarns solution, it ensures long lasting colour fastness and resistance to fading. The batchless tile is also easy-to-install as there is no need to calculate sized areas, which also saves time.
As it is a random lay tile, fitting waste can be kept to an absolute minimum less than 2% due to the fact that every off-cut can be used, while speed of installation is increased as there are no directional rules to follow and no need to check the pile direction. Mix also has the added advantage that batches can be combined over time, without spoiling the overall effect.
This tile can be used either on its own or combined together with other modular Forbo textile or resilient ranges to create a beautiful and unique flooring installation.
