Milliken has launched the Pattern Play carpet tile collection, developed by its design team at the UK headquarters in Wigan.
The collection draws inspiration from the New London Fabulous movement, focusing on joy, diversity and creativity.
Pattern Play features a combination of pattern, colour and texture. The collection includes three designs: Pattern Play, which offers an overall pattern creating texture; Transitions, which enables customisation through gradient effects; and Shapes, which promotes creative expression through dynamic patterns. The collection provides over 70 colour options and customisation capabilities.
Sustainability is a key aspect of the collection, with materials and manufacturing processes prioritising environmental responsibility. Pattern Play is produced in an ISO 14001 / ISO 50001-certified facility in Wigan, utilising renewable energy. The tiles contain 61% recycled content by total weight, with the backing made from 90% recycled material. Certifications include Cradle to Cradle Silver and Declare Red List free, as well as IAQ CRI Green Label Plus, TUV Proficert Premium, and GUT.
Pattern Play is available with Milliken’s Tractionback 2.0 system, allowing for glue-free installation and reuse. The collection aligns with WELL standards, contributing to the achievement of points towards certification.
