Every tree has its rightful place in the forest and contributes to the ecological balance, but sometimes nature needs a little help to promote a healthy growing forest.
A tree felling by Dinesen is done with great care. We handpick the tree according to Dinesen's quality criteria, but for the benefits of the forest as well. A new space opens for the next generation to grow.
We cut down only one tree at a time, so the forest is affected as little as possible and our forest engineers measure exactly where the tree falls to protect the other trees around.
Now light fills the forest again.
Our trees come from Schwarzwald
Schwarzwald is called "The Black Forest" because of the tree species that grow in it, which cause a lot of shade and make the forest dense and dark. With its favourable location, characterised by mountain landscapes, Schwarzwald has a self-regulating and natural ecosystem. It provides fertile ground for rich, balanced vegetation where the healthiest trees grow. This is why our trees are chosen primarily from Schwarzwald.
