Tillman Domotics created a TV for the kitchen island that pops up and swivels, allowing the cook to watch while preparing and serving the food at the table area of the island unit.
For more formal occasions, the TV can be discreetly hidden below the countertop. The lift mechanism is operated at the touch of a button from the iPad or wall-mounted touch-screen and is almost silent. The TV’s stainless steel back-plate is also custom designed to stop the fat from the sausages spilling over the TV.
Tillman’s bespoke systems encompass audio-visual kit, including media rooms and home cinemas, plus interior and exterior lighting, electronic window blinds, security, internet and Wi-Fi access. All the elements are integrated into a single interface, with everything remote-controlled from an iPad.
