Inspired from the flowing organic forms of Art Nouveau, the new dining table has been named after the city of Vienna. Presenting steel in a new light, Vienna dining table is a juxtaposition of strength with delicacy.
Handmade in Tom Faulkner’s workshops, Vienna’s legs are water-cut from 25mm solid steel plate and then finished to order. Featuring an unusual shaped top, somewhere between a rectangle and an oval, with gently rounded corners, Vienna dining table is made as a comfortable and sociable furniture piece.
The top is made of solid walnut, with a durable wax-oil treatment, which highlights the grain. The legs are finished in a rich bronze which is typical of Art Nouveau metalwork.
Measuring 220 x 100cm, the Vienna dining table is available in a wide variety of different finishes. The tops are available to order. Vienna can also be customised to special commission. Its price starts from £6,000 ($9,370.80).
