Unlike wood, leather, linen and cotton, which can warp and shrink in humid or moist surroundings, the new blind system from Tuissis is made of polyester, poly-cotton mix, glass fibre, faux woods, and viscose.
Available in a variety of unusual and beautiful fabrics, the blinds claim to offer greater longevity than natural materials in moist conditions. They can be cleaned with a damp cloth and warm soapy water, with the fabrics not prone to mildew, rotting or shrinking.
