The UFO table is a modern round/oval table with a soft, continuous form and can be used as a dining or conference table. With an ‘extra-terrestrial’ theme, the table has an inverted saucer top and cylindrical base.
The table is made entirely of shaped plywood and finished in wenge, natural or tinted oak or lacquer. The base and underside of the top are lacquered. The table also comes in the new UFO full sporting top, wherein the underside and base are completely covered in wood veneer.
Light, thin sheets of wood are coated with resins and glues and laid carefully in dyes which have been designed according to the desired shape. Then comes the first stage of heating and pressing, so that the wood takes on the shape. A computer-controlled machine works on these items, which are later finished by hand.
