The project has already received the green light from local planners. International multi-disciplinary consultant WYG Management Services is working for Eastbury Park as ‘Independent Certifier’ of the buildings, which means the consultants need to impartially assess them for handover and occupation.
The PFI project will provide new assets and infrastructure including office and operational buildings, community facilities and living accommodation, and substantial refurbishment to some existing buildings.
The consultant is working alongside the client reporting formally to them on areas including, architecture, construction, building services, ICT infrastructure and health and safety. The build phase of the project is expected to be completed in August 2011.
