Ranging from single rooms to flats, the club features 290 rooms, which can accommodate 400 people. The facility also includes restaurants, 12 private banqueting rooms, a gym and a library.
To improve the productivity and efficiency, the club’s kitchens has undergone a refurbishment, which combines two working areas spread over two floors into one more practical working kitchen. Designed by John McCarthy of Genie Interiors Limited, the refurbishment required accommodating Altro’ products in the small outdated kitchen, which was installed in 1975.
About 100 square metre of Altro SoloSafe resin flooring with decorative quartz in blue colour Clyde has been installed in the kitchen. The floor of the kitchen has been grounded, with the slabs uplifted to install the flooring.
Exhibiting a pleasant look, the Altro SoloSafe is a quick drying, hygienic and hardwearing flooring solution. Incorporating Rapicure technology, Altro SoloSafe is a slip-resistant, easy to clean, decorative three-part solvent-free epoxy resin screed. This fast-cure, low-odour screed is suitable for a wide variety of areas where speed of installation and rapid return to service are essential. Being slip-resistant, the Altro SoloSafe is designed to be effective in both barefoot and shoed environments, while remaining hygienic and easier to clean.
The kitchen also features 200 square metre of Altro Whiterock hygienic wall cladding. The cost-effective sheet is extruded from a high quality, food safe PVCu polymer for operating temperatures up to 60 degree celsius. Meeting all current EU Directives on health and hygiene, the Altro Whiterock wall cladding is easy to clean, impact-resistant and grout-free.
