Architecture and physical therapy students together created artistic and functional walking paths in the Charles T Wethington Junior building of the campus.

The project aims at promoting exercise, health and lifestyle on campus. The physical therapy center in the Wethington building provided the perfect space for the walkway.

Prior to the incorporation of the project, physical therapy students researched ways to make the walkway an area for short walks, while the art design students presented the art concept for the corridor.

Their concept provided a balance between the abstract and literal to decorate the walls of the long corridor. Tall grass, insects, stretching silhouettes and abstract shaped murals embellished the 250 feet long corridor, which emerges as an opportunity to add physical activity into the busy schedules of students.
