VitrA will be one of the prime exhibitors at the ISH Frankfurt, the world leading trade fair for bathroom, building, energy, air-conditioning technology and renewable energies. More than 2300 exhibitors and over 200,000 visitors are expected for the exhibition which will be held from 15-19 March 2011.
The current VitrA product collections are all deliberately designed to present a full ‘family of products’ which means there will be sizes, dimensions and variations to furnish any part of a commercial or domestic interior from a single source. This ensures an overall continuity of design throughout a home or leisure interior.
A fundamental aspect of VitrA product design is environmental responsibility, especially in the areas of material and energy usage in manufacturing and water conservation in final use.
VitrA dual flush cisterns are designed to save significant amounts of water. A family of four can save 48 litres of water each day. The new generation VitrA 2.5/4 litre cisterns claims to help the same family save 64 litres of water par day.
Shallow wash basins like those in the MOD collection use less water. From VitrA’s Water Jewels, a specially designed bath with lowered inner height claims to offer significant conservation. Water conservation is combined with energy consumption reduction by VitrA taps equipped with temperature flow adjustable cartridges.
VitrA is concerned with the amount of raw material used in all parts of manufacturing which is optimised at every opportunity.
VitrA is said to be the world’s sixth largest manufacturer of high quality bathroom products distinguished by original design and overriding attention to quality, user enjoyment and eco-responsible features. VitrA product ranges cover baths, basins, WCs, bidets, brassware, furniture, shower trays and accessories.
