The elegant-looking exterior of the vessel has been designed by Tripp Design while its interior has been styled by Wetzels Brown Partners. The yacht is the largest carbon fibre sloop in the world and the first sailing yacht to abide by RINA Green Star Design specifications.

Better Place features a 62 square metre owners suite, as well as four double staterooms which together can house up to twelve guests. It also comprises accommodation for ten crew members in five double cabins. Satin white lacquered oak, grey leather and colour matched upholstery serve as the predominant design features of the vessel. The interior areas of the yacht have been designed to flow seamlessly into its exterior spaces. The vessel is illuminated with colour-changing LED lights installed throughout. Among the various other features of the vessel include a fully equipped flybridge, a spa pool, and a side bathing platform.

The Bugatti blue-hulled yacht has been fitted with a Siemens diesel electric propulsion system and three Caterpillar generators which help it operate at a maximum speed of 14 knots.

The vessel is expected to be delivered by June end 2012.
