Among the various features of the facility include a complete grocery department, the new Celebration Station department, and the electronics department. The electronics section will be equipped with interactive displays for hi-definition Blu-ray, video gaming and portable electronics. The interior of the store will don a bright colour scheme.
The property will also imbibe several eco-friendly elements. It will comprise skylights which will harvest daylight, hence leading to daily energy cost cuts of up to 75% for lighting. Energy consumption will be further reduced with installation of LED lighting system which are 70% more efficient compared to conventional fluorescent lighting.
The restrooms of the store will be fitted with low-flow toilets and faucets to decrease water usage. The cement comprising the building’s concrete flooring will be formed of reclaimed materials, whereas the floor’s finish will help cut down the requirement for chemical cleaners. The facility will also employ measures to reduce the amount of waste.
