The new design has overcome the problem of ‘bench bottlenecks’ where everyone seated at the table had to shuffle along the bench to let one person out. The ‘Birthday’ design employs a movable table top, allowing anyone to release the mechanism to literally push the table away, giving ample space to leave the dining area without causing inconvenience to anyone.
Wharfside tables are made in various sizes and woods to fit most bench set ups. Each table can withstand a heavy solid wood top. The base of the tables are made of steel pedestals.
