The new speciality club has been designed for people who run or cycle their way to office, a growing trend that has been observed in London.

The H2 Club will be situated at Dufours Place, Soho, London. The club will include 230 secure bike parking spaces with CCTV coverage, 1,200 lockers and 40 showers for the members to store their bikes safely and change before going to work. Other services include spin classes, personal training, cycle repair and dry cleaning and laundry services.

H2 states that their clubs have been carefully designed to provide a spacious, clean environment to help cyclists get washed, dressed and ready for work. The facility is equipped with large number of private luxury shower cubicles. Lockers are available in standard, premium and deluxe sizes, with many available on a monthly rental basis. Grooming amenities include full length mirrors, hair dryers and vanity bays with female members even having use of our own in built GHD hair straighteners.

The club also consists of an official Spinning Studio that is designed and fitted out for quality Spinning, complete with 33 Star Trac Spinner NXT bikes and a state of the art audio visual set up.

The H2 Club concept was created by Piers Slater, the founder of property development company Reef Estates. The £1.5 million ($2.4 million) development is the first of a proposed number of clubs planned to be located in strategically convenient places across central London. Piers believes there is a demand for 20 clubs across central London and had already identified 10 locations.

Willmott Dixon Interiors has announced plans to complete this fast-track project by April 2011.
