The project has been executed by Shepley Bulfinch and involved facelift of the Rastall Hall possessing a seat capacity of 400, Benji’s Café with a seat capacity of 150 in addition to the 150-seat Colorado Coffee. The revamped centre has been adorned with light wood and stone finishes complemented by a predominant presence of green tones.

The serveries of the building sport curved shapes with the salad and sandwich server functioning as its centrepiece. The aesthetics have been enhanced through installation of mixed-media artistic pieces. Further, a few retail units of the facility have been moved from its first storey to accommodate three meeting rooms. The new meeting rooms will facilitate social events and group study.

The facility has incorporated a host of green features post overhaul work such as installation of energy-efficient bulbs and low-flow plumbing fixtures. Its roof has now been fitted with 11 solar panels. In addition, the appliances incorporated in the building’s kitchen are Energy-Star eligible. Use of the energy-saving measures has resulted in a 30% reduction in energy usage of the facility.
