Located in Chaoyangmen in central Beijing, Galaxy Soho is a new shopping, office and entertainment venue comprising four buildings. The project has been developed on about 50,000 square metre site, and has a footprint of 330,000 square metre, which is spread over 18 levels consisting of 15 above ground and three sub-cellar levels.

The first four floors of the building has 90,000 square metres of retail space, with the rest of the space dedicated to offices. In total, it has 12 office floors and three retail floors above ground. The sub-cellar levels consist of one level of retail space and two-levels of parking for 1,275 cars.

The entire scheme is devoid of corners and abrupt transitions, which creates a flowing space. Access, circulation and sun-path movements have oriented the design, allowing deep infiltration of natural light into the site and surrounding neighbourhoods.

The building has a height of 67m. The four buildings are connected to each other by means of bridges and plateaus at different levels. The project period spanned from 2009 to 2012.

Soho China Limited, a Chinese developer of high-profile branded commercial properties has developed the property.
