The store is on the 5th Avenue in Manhattan and has an area of more than 32,000 square feet. The three storey store features a wide range of eco-friendly fixtures and fittings. The company used wooden panels and shelves through out the store.

The walls of the changing rooms are also made of wood panels. The wood used in the store is PEFC-certified and has been procured from sustainable sources.

The other sustainable elements of the store include motion detectors in the store room, toilets and corridors, which reduces the area’s lighting by 80% when it senses zero occupancy. The sensors reduce lighting to 66% for non-trading hours.

The store has efficient heating and air-conditioning systems and includes special thermostats to prevent energy spikes at times of heavy demand. It also has electronically-regulated curtains at the shop’s entrances, which prevent influxes of cold or hot air from outside.

The power consumption of the store is 30% lower than other comparable stores. It also uses 70% lesser water and prevents carbon dioxide emission by almost 150 tons per annum.
