A $400 facelift was done by London architects Foster and Partners. It was also voted the Best New or Renovated Hotel while the 4,000 square meter spa created by American spa consultant Sylvia Sepielli was accalaimed as the jewel in the crown, bringing back glamour to Zurich’s restored idol. 

Meanwhile the hotel’s dining venue, The Restaurant, was awarded 1 Michelin Star and 17 Gault Millau points. It features 173 rooms and suites along with two new extensions, the Golf and Spa Wings which is a fusion of tradition with modernity.  

It also feature a black swimming pool, a gym, movement and mind-body studios, 19 treatment rooms, spa cafe and two spa suites for relaxation. The Dolder Grand also introduced a ballroom, banqueting and seminar facilities including a new Gallery.
