Designer Martin Ballandat, who created the Scope range in collaboration with our in-house design team, as his first project for Viasit, has been a leading figure in German furniture design for the last 25 years and has already been honoured with many international awards for his work.
Launched at Orgatec 2010, the international furniture world was impressed by the first cooperation between Viasit and Ballandat. The Scope family of chairs deliver instant appeal as a result of its light structure and elegant style, combining distinctive design with outstanding sitting comfort and revolutionary ergonomics.

The award winning product is a conference swivel chair on a 4 star base, with other family models, a classic four-leg and a cantilever frame chair delivering the same distinctive frame geometry in curved rectangular steel tube, making Scope unmistakable.
The Scope family also includes world class task chairs available with mesh or upholstered backs. The outstanding design feature of the task chair is the special construction of the backrest support, with a patented Pendolo concept giving the backrest an additional pivot point, allowing lateral movement around the vertical axis. Scope adds another dimension to dynamic sitting.
