The results of the project, which included up to 63% energy savings through the combined installation of Saint-Gobain systems, were revealed by Saint-Gobain at its seminar theatre on its stand. Leading the seminars each day were Simon Gibson, Research & Development Manager at Saint-Gobain, Tom Cox, Products & Systems Development Manager at Saint-Gobain Isover, and members of the Salford and Leeds Metropolitan University teams who worked on the project.

The seminar session soon became the most talked about matter for visitors, from architects and students to journalists and specifiers, all keen to learn more about the project and its results.

Richard Halderthay, Director of Communications for Saint-Gobain UK, Ireland & South Africa, said: "As expected, there was a lot of interest around our innovative Energy House project, which we are really excited to reveal to the public. Ecobuild was the perfect place to do this, with the most well-regarded industry experts attending over the three days.

"We were very excited to be a part of this year’s Ecobuild so to have so many people visit the stand and show their interest in Saint-Gobain and our partners was absolutely great! Huge thanks to all those who contributed to a very successful programme of seminars."

The Saint-Gobain stand and seminar theatre successfully delivered a range of presentations from prolific industry bodies, CITB, Zero Carbon Hub, the Passivhaus Trust, Greenworks Training Academy, Salford University and Leeds Metropolitan University.

With other sessions covering an array of topic including Eco & Green Deal, Multi-Comfort Buildings, Delivering Low Energy Homes and Training, the stand welcomed an overwhelming number of visitors over the course of the three-day event.
