Designed to match any of the wiring accessories in the company’s Classic or Infinity collections, the new wireless rocker switch has the look of a conventional light switch, enabling it to blend in perfectly with existing accessories. Its recessed installation gives an aesthetically-pleasing finish but it is simple to install with no wiring required.
The rocker switch works by using an electro-dynamic power generator to generate the power needed to switch on the light with the action of pushing the switch. A radio transmitter in the unit then enables implementation of wireless remote controls without batteries. A ‘next generation’ wireless wiring accessory, the product is ideal for retrofitting in heritage buildings where re-wiring could cause damage to wall coverings or environments like schools and hospitals where disruption needs to be kept to a minimum.
