Visiting the doctor in West Yorkshire is now an altogether more pleasant experience following the completion of the new Waterloo surgery in Huddersfield. The surgery’s striking interior, finished in April 2005, benefitted from flooring by Heckmondwike FB, the UK’s leading manufacturer of fibre-bonded carpets and carpet tiles.
Fitted in the reception, doctors’ rooms, corridors and administration areas, the Montage carpet tile collection combines both high performance and aesthetic appeal. It also provides enhanced acoustic properties and acts as an effective interceptor which prevents outside dirt from being carried throughout the rest of the surgery. SuperDreadnought, a heavy contract entrance area broadloom carpet, was also installed at the surgery’s main door in the ‘Anthracite’ colourway. Available as both broadloom carpet and carpet tile, SuperDreadnought is designed to further reduce the amount of dirt and grime carried through into the reception area.
