The synthetic 3G artificial sports turf Conqueror 40, manufactured by Playrite, was an excellent choice for the sports pitch. The 40mm sand/rubber infilled grass is ideal for football and hockey, is to FA Community standard and FIH Hockey accreditation, and can be used all year round. The pitch was installed onto an in-situ rubber shockpad with prolongs the longevity of the surface. The synthetic turf is then infilled with sand to support the pile height and then rubber to meet all necessary playing characteristics.

The end result from their work with Playrite is a total transformation with the completed pitch turning St Peters Sports Pitch into a state of the art sports facility, that can now also be rented out to the general public to raise extra income for the School.
