Glendyne is a strong, consistent, easy-to-work and durable natural slate. It has gained a reputation as the ideal replacement for blue/grey Welsh slate – particularly the unobtainable Ffestiniog. The quarry has a remarkable geology which combined with the emphasis put into the quality control creates a top quality slate at an affordable price.
The new case study book describes how Glendyne has been used to solve roofing problems and includes inspirational photography on how this unique material can be used to enhance a variety of building types.

Glendyne is available exclusively in the UK through Cembrit. Produced in the town of Saint Marc du Lac Long, Quebec, the Glendyne quarry is one of the most modern in the world. The quarry operates a quality management system based on the externally audited EN ISO 9001. This standard is adhered to rigidly, as are all quality standard procedures required by each regional market the quarry supplies.
