"Flexibility is key in business if you are going to create a great, future-proof working environment for your staff and clients," explains Bill Drummond, Brodies’ managing partner. "The move to our new offices in Glasgow had to achieve this goal of flexibility and Style really helped us to bring alive our vision for a modern, flexible, discrete and inspiring professional services office at the heart of Scotland’s largest city."

Communication is key to Style’s ability to consistently delivery acoustic partitioning systems that meet or exceed customer expectations. "Being brought into discussions at the design stage allows us to maximise the acoustic performance of a moveable wall," comments Julian Sargent, Style’s group managing director. "With careful planning and liaison with other contractors on the project, our in-house trained installation teams can significantly reduce sound flanking."

Style is the exclusive UK partner for DORMA, and one of the key advantages of its highly adaptable Variflex product range, is that the panels are manufactured separately to the frame. This allows individual panels to be cost-effectively replaced if they become scuffed or damaged, or if a change to the interior décor is required, all the panels can be updated.

Style worked closely with Keppie Design, to deliver flexibility to Brodies’ outstanding boardroom. David Louden, Style’s director for Scotland, adds, "This is a stunning boardroom which can adapt quickly, opening up into one large area or being rapidly divided into two separate meeting rooms. Once in place, this virtually sound-proofed solution means staff and clients can enjoy complete privacy."
