At Sleep 2016 Bette showed how it combines inspirational design and manufacturing expertise with clever solutions for the hotel market.
On display were a range of beautifully designed products, alongside practical solutions to answer the challenges of creating the best hotel bathrooms.
Bette’s baths, shower floors and washbasins are created from natural materials, finished with its highly durable BetteGlaze enamel and have a thirty year warranty. Sustainability is central to Bette’s approach, and this is confirmed by the company’s Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) which complies with ISO 14025 and EN15804
Visitors to the stand had the opportunity to see the quality and smoothness of the Bette enamel finish, as well as a selection of the huge range of colours available. Products included one of the company’s many free-standing baths, the BetteStarlet Oval Silhouette, which was displayed in an elegant two colour option, with brilliant white interior and gloss black exterior. Also on display was a steel/enamel washbasin from the wide range available, a bath designed for showering, as well as bathing, and the company’s modular furniture range, BetteModules. Bette also used Sleep to highlight its colour flexibility, including the option to match ceramic colours, and so was is a move away from the traditional white, with some items shown in stunning black.
Also on display was one of Bette’s flush-to-floor shower areas, the BetteFloor Side, shown incorporating some of Bette’s most popular and clever solutions for the hotel market. The BetteFloor Side resembles a large steel/enamel tile, is permanently water-proof, easy to clean, hygienic and fits perfectly into the floor tiling pattern. It is available in a huge range of sizes and colours, including new matt colours to coordinate with the latest trends in flooring.
It was shown incorporating BetteUpstand: an enamelled steel upturn of the edge, which does away with the need for silicone where the shower floor meets the wall tiles, solving a common problem area for hotels with an easy-to-clean and durable alternative. This innovative solution is also available to order on Bette built-in baths.
The BetteFloor Side shower area was also show with Bette’s almost invisible anti-slip surface; BetteAntislip Pro, which offers a high level of slip resistance but does not detract from the elegant enamelled surface.
With Germany leading the way in sound regulation, this is an area in which Bette has developed extensive expertise through its own sound lab and testing facility. On display were examples of Bette’s proven sound insulation solutions, for shower trays/floors and baths.
