Following on from the first themes of Aquatic Voyage and Infinite Shadow, Antron® fibre takes a step into the world of classicism, reimagined as we seek stability in turbulent times. In the third theme, Classic Allure, we see a colour palette that is atmospheric and luxurious.
A trend that celebrates the juxtaposition between the permanency of architecture and temporary organics, Classic Allure sees tradition meet modernity, for a look that is intimate and sensual. Colours such as Persian Plum, Sable, Fog and Burnt Comet bring soft pairings and natural tones.
The final theme, Coded Canvas, refocuses our attention on our digital world and how we are embracing it with a real sense of positivity. The theme focuses on pixelated shapes and overlapping layers that are adding depth to interior surfaces for an almost illusory quality.
Coded Canvas reveals a palette full of dynamic colour, with gradient effects and vibrant contrasts in colours such as Blaze Orange, Lemon Zest and Deep Dive. In a blue-green spectrum, these saturated and bright tones retain a sophisticated feel, grounded with brown and navy, ideal for transitional schemes.
"The final two themes from Global Trends 2017/18 reinforce our willingness to explore and embrace juxtapositions between old and new," comments Jo Lea Keppler, marketing communications manager, Antron® carpet fibre. "Alongside Aquatic Voyage and Infinite Shadow, Classic Allure and Coded Canvas show the future for colour is full of energy and positivity. This is a welcome reference to technology’s influence on creativity and our willingness to take risks."
