Kitchen Sink Combi 2

In collaboration with the distinguished and long-term partner, Phoenix Design, 16 sink combinations can be paired with hansgrohe kitchen mixers to form single integrated units. Exact geometric forms and precise corner radii give the sinks a high-end look and make the sinks easy to clean. The wide rims give the sinks their distinctive design, showcase their stainless steel surface and allow for an additional benefit: room for the innovative two-hole mixers where the control lever is positioned at the front of the sink.

Durable Material and High Level Craftsmanship
"Stainless steel is still the most widely used material in the modern kitchen. Moreover, we decided to produce with high-quality stainless steel because it’s hygienic, food safe, heat resistant and easy to clean. Besides, the soft lustre typical for this material is prevalent in modern kitchens. When combined with a matching mixer, the result is a visually and ergonomically pleasing solution",
explains Jan Heisterhagen, Vice President of Product Management. The level of quality synonymous with "Made by hansgrohe" is reflected in the meticulous craftsmanship: the material is cut using a laser, folded, and carefully welded. In a final step, the surface is finished and buffed. The result is a stable one-millimetre-thick rim. Stiffening elements underneath the sink ensure that the faucet is securely locked in position. At the same time, the rim makes it possible to install the sink flush with the countertop or mounted. In addition, six undermounted models offer solutions in combination with countertops made of natural or artificial stone.

Individualised Combination and Installation Options
A choice of product models is available for use with standard kitchen base cabinet widths. The width of the narrowest undermounted sink is 450 millimetres. The generously proportioned kitchen sink unit with its 660-millimetre bowl is in line with the current trend toward sinks with a large single basin and no draining board. There are also double sinks for those who prize flexibility in the kitchen, and who, for instance, would like to be able to wash lettuce and drain pasta at the same time. Two double-sink models are available, one with two bowls of equal size and the second with a smaller and a larger bowl, suited for use with base cabinets measuring 80 centimetres or wider. Anyone who frequently washes up by hand needs a draining board. The hansgrohe built-in sink consisting of a 450-millimetre bowl and a 500-millimetre draining board is suited for installation in base cabinets with widths of 60 centimetres or more. The numerous installation options and models of the hansgrohe range of built-in sinks, as well as the wide range of matching hansgrohe kitchen mixers, make it possible to create a kitchen centrepiece that ideally accommodates individual preferences and usage needs.

Smart Components
A mixer with a pull-out spray provides greater flexibility, making kitchen chores easier. Therefore, hansgrohe also launches a new innovative component for pull-out sprays: the new sBox. It keeps the base cabinet tidy and ensures reliable functionality. The sBox stores the hose of the pull-out spray in a flat box specifically designed to fit in standard base cabinets. This protects the hose from being damaged by drawers and waste bins, and ensures comfortable, smooth and quiet operation. In addition, the sBox offers greater freedom of movement: the length of the new hose integrated into the hansgrohe sBox increases the operating range around the sink by up to 26 centimetres compared to pull-out models without an sBox. This means, for example, that one can conveniently fill pots without placing them in the sink. Moreover, the hansgrohe sBox has multifunctional mounting brackets for flexibility when installing in base cabinets.
