Innovative designers will exhibit work (many for the first time publicly) set to shape and respond to almost every aspect of our lives, from social and lifestyle changes to environmental factors and commercial realities. The designer-makers incorporate traditional crafts with modern technique and technology through their works, combining aesthetic with usability and setting the tone for future design through their presentations at the show.
Returning this year is also One Year On, a curated showcase of the most exciting design talents in their first year of business, with its largest selection of designers to date. 80 talented individuals have been selected by a panel of experts from across the design industry and are tipped to be the iconic designers of the future.

This year's One Year On exhibition includes kinetic jewellery, illustrations which draw inspiration from vintage matchbox artwork, furniture made from distinctive 5,000 year-old bog oak and a brutalist inspired ceramic tea set. Amongst homeware, graphics, furniture, textiles, ceramics, jewellery and illustrations, in One Year On design-hunters can discover original ideas, bold contemporary styles and product innovation. The exhibition also reveals the latest trends around ecology and sustainability, new technology such as 3D printing and the contemporary revival of traditional craft techniques such as metal planishing.
