Help was sought from architect Charles Coull of CSC.A. Charles was instrumental in the build, guiding the couple through planning & building regulations and the overall design of the project. Charles also designed the incredible roof line that successful got the build approved by planning.
The couple also had assistance in the help of Charlie Luxton of Channel 4 fame. The project was featured in the latest series (series 6, episode 1) of 'Building the Dream'. Charlie helped the couple enormously to maximise on space and the ecological credentials of the build.
The couple discovered Delta Light whilst researching on the internet for recessed fittings. After falling in love with the lighting products, they decided to use the fittings throughout the whole of the house. Using a mix of directional spotlights Spy trimless, You-Turn Reo, Diro and Tweeter recessed downlights and recessed Femtoline profile.
The build took a total of five and a half years from buying the dilapidated unit, to its transformation into a stunning home.
