The interiors of the listed hotel are designed to reflect the golden age of travel, the 1920’s and 1930’s, with a number of antique pieces and styles used throughout the bedrooms and hotel to provide this look.  The bedrooms feature brass and mahogany furniture, chandeliers, with richly patterned furnishings.

Since 2014 we worked closely with Soho House to develop a custom finish for all our electrical accessories which have been installed throughout the hotel.  The custom finish, which we named Soho Aged Brass, is an intrinsic component in all the bespoke switches and sockets.  The bespoke 1930’s period style light switches and sockets, were enhanced by a sophisticated, yet simple to use, lighting control system.  Fitted into each room this control system gives each guest a flexible dimming capability, which is provided by our unique retractive toggle (dolly) switches.  It is a great example of how we combine beautiful front interfaces with intelligent controls.

For over 100 years Wandsworth have worked with leading interior designers and architects to bring their vision to reality.  As utilised by Soho House at The Ned, we provide a bespoke design and manufacturer service.  This service enables you to provide us with a concept and we will design your exact requirements, ensuring they comply to all legislation.  We will also provide our guidance and experience to deliver some design ideas.  The custom finishing allows us to match the plates to whatever finish you require, a common desire is to match the door and window hardware.  Helping you throughout this process is our team of experienced design consultants, who will work with you every step of the way to ensure the finished light switch or socket is, as you require.
