Phillips will continue to be based at The Water Studio, Clerkenwell, London, and will report directly to Hans-Juergen Kalmbach, Vice President Sales for Asia Pacific and Global Projects. Kalmbach comments; “Jay has successfully led our team and plans across the EMEA region,intensifying our partnerships with customer stakeholders and developing systems and sales processes to add further value to our customers. This extended role will leverage Hansgrohe’s strong global position, in faucets, showers and mixers, by connecting regions and key account customers. Jay will continue to work closely with our Projects Leadership teams, aligning strategies to create further customer value.” Kalmbach continues, “Our commitment to design, innovation, quality and sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Hansgrohe. With a rich experience spanning over 21 years in the sanitary industry, Phillips has worked for Grohe and Kohler and started his career at Hansgrohe UK in 2012 as Head of Projects. During his tenure, he played an instrumental role in driving the projects division forward to achieve record sales growth, which in 2014 saw him progress to Sales Director – Projects. Phillips has gain increased responsibility for driving global strategy for the EMEA regions and accelerated key accounts across the prominent hospitality sector.
