“Sleep has always been a very successful show and its success reflects the industry’s success. Its evolution into Sleep + Eat is a barometer for what is happening across the market; there is a strong trend towards convergence and a growing interdependence of hotels, restaurants and bars in creating the full hospitality experience. As a good number of our members already work across these sectors, or wish to do so, this move to include “Eat” makes perfect sense to us and we are committed to working with Sleep + Eat to help ensure it triumphs.”

BCFA members who are exhibiting at Sleep + Eat this year include Chelsom, Ena Shaw Contract, Knightsbridge, Romo, Morgan Furniture, Hansgrohe, Harrison Spinks Beds, Edmund Bell, Burgess and Style Library Contract.
This year’s theme, “Recognisable and New”, will be explored in the Sleep Sets where designers (HBA London, AB Concept, Yasmine Mahmoudieh and Denton Corker Marshall) have been paired with well-known brands and challenged with transposing their values into hotel guestrooms.
2018 is a significant year in the ongoing evolution of the event. Not only has it become Sleep + Eat, it will be moving to the National Hall in Olympia. A major advantage of the change in location is the larger floorplate, which means that, for the first time, the Sleep Sets, joined this year by the Eat Sets, will be located in the same hall as the exhibitors so that everyone will benefit from the energy and cross-fertilisation of each other’s visitors.
“All of us here at Sleep + Eat are delighted to be continuing our ongoing partnership with our friends at the BCFA” says Mark Gordon, Brand Director of Sleep + Eat. “For years this important organisation and its members have been massive supporters of our show and we’re happy to maintain this strong relationship as we go into the most innovative year in the show’s history.”
Sleep + Eat will take place on Tuesday 20 – Wednesday 21 November 2018 in the National Hall, Olympia, London. For more information and to register for a complementary pass, visit www.sleepandeatevent.com
