Bathroom design begins with the washing area. The ME by Starck washbasin with its asymmetrically positioned basin provides a generous shelf, and the new compact handrinse basin is a perfect solution for the smallest of rooms. The ME range hasn’t been designed to dominate the room, but rather to increase the scope for individualization and the personal touch. For example the new furniture washbasin in a width of 1230 mm, is available with a choice of one or two tap holes and can be combined with the Duravit L-Cube, XSquare, XViu, Ketho, Brioso, and XBase furniture ranges.

Duravit has harmonized the range’s look and feel, from the ceramic glaze through to the furniture finishes, perfection down to the last detail. All ME by Starck washbasins and the matching toilet are now available in the new White Satin Matt ceramic finish. Their velvety finish exudes a sophisticated elegance and creates contrasts with glossy individual pieces.

With six versatile washing area solutions from 430 mm to 1300 mm, ME by Starck is a minimalist range for both private and public areas. The slender rim that is found on the toilets and urinals serves as the recurring design element. The delicate edge gives the washbasins a light, almost rimless appearance, while their inner basins are conveniently deep. The vanity basin in four different widths (from 630 mm to 1230 mm) with its distinctive lines is especially flat and offers generous shelf areas, while the console basin can be combined with a vanity unit or various consoles. The washbasins with pedestal or siphon cover appeal thanks to their pure, minimalist design and balanced sense of proportions.

In addition to concentrating on the design, Philippe Starck and Duravit focused on modern technology: the attractive toilets and bidets in the range are designed as sleek units without visible wall fixings. Thanks to Rimless® technology, the open design of the flushing rim offers additional convenience, as does the new SensoWash Slim shower-toilet seat. It features precision hinges that are easy to remove, which means the ceramics can be thoroughly cleaned with ease.
