The treads themselves are 360 mm wide and 78 mm deep and have loft ladder which has a non slip profile. A handrail is ready fitted as standard. The hatchbox is constructed from 16mm thick chipboard and the trapdoor is 46 mm thick with a white/grey finish “Promatect” board to the underside and upper surface. The insulation U value of the trapdoor is 0.8W/m2K.
