Country Contemporary, the newly-launched soft wool carpet range from FLOR by heuga, offers a climate-neutral, easy-to-lay tile system that needs no underlay or specialist fitter. It is a practical and eco-friendly solution to treating any damage that occurs, as only the affected 50 by 50cm tile need to be replaced, rather than the entire carpet.
The carpet is available in eight refined colors, ranging from classic naturals such as ‘Sesame’ to the rich nut brown of ‘Pecan’ and a chic crimson, ‘Pink Peppercorn’. There are colors to suit every décor style proving that practicality, sustainability and design need not be mutually exclusive.
The 50 by 50cm tile system offers those who want to make a feature of their floor, the opportunity of creating their own design using two or more colors from the range to create stripes, checks or borders.
Country Contemporary is designed to be climate neutral. The company is constantly working to reduce any greenhouse gas emissions, offsetting those which may be unavoidable via a program managed by Europe’s environmental company, Climate Care. Via this scheme, FLOR by heuga is already financing the construction of a wind turbine in India, the installation of treadle pumps in India, biomass power in India and fuel efficient stoves in Cambodia.
