The Nobo range features easels, white boards, projectors and screens to the humble marker pen and pinboard. The new brand will be applied to packaging, point-of-sale material, and marketing and communications material.
The effort has been to create an appearance that reflects the quality that the sensitive audience looks for in Nobo products along with maintaining uniformity when conveying information across diverse European markets, says Adrian Crane, creative director of Factor 3.
Nobo did not want to sacrifice margins to compete down with cheaper and inferior foreign imports and they looked to repositioning its quality range of office products against more discerning audiences in the visual communications marketplace. The key audience sectors identified are design seekers and differentiating perfectionists.
The first of over 150 redesigned packs will be in shops by mid 2009.
