The airport authorities has sought proposals to design areas of terrazzo floor in six different locations measuring a total of 1,788 square feet which is equivalent of a wall nearly 18 feet high and 100 feet long.
The project theme is ‘A Green City on a Blue Lake: Past, Present and Future’. The call for artists is open to organizations, groups, individuals and other creative personals within Northeast Ohio.
The airport will be replacing the selected flooring with terrazzo throughout eth airport. The successful applicant will create original designs that exemplify a physical, structural or dynamic that represents the uniqueness of Cleveland.
The deadline for accepting proposals is September 18, 2009.
